If visiting us is impractical:

• We can arrange a post-in repair service.
• Our courier service can collect your iPhone locally and we’ll deliver it back to you repaired.
• In the case of emergency we offer a call-out service where we perform the repair at your home/workplace.

After: An hour later, the iPhone 4S was restored to its former glory and a replacement screen had been fitted. We saved our lovely customer an expensive trip to the Apple shop (they quoted £180 – we charged £40). The customer walked away with a huge smile on his face.

iPhone 4S liquid damage and screen replacement

This iPhone had an accident with a bottle of perfume in a handbag. The phone was opened and most of the liquid was found between the LCD and central frame. Luckily the logic board escaped most of the liquid. The phone was cleaned, the front assembly replaced and it was then Powered on and tested – all working perfectly!

iPhone 4 Battery Replacement

A customer came in with a ‘dead’ iPhone. He had already gone to Apple and they diagnosed it as a dead motherboard, quoting him £120 (they wanted to replace the phone for a refurb).

What about his data? Pictures? Music? Calendar? Messages? He was told there was no chance of getting his data back unless he had a backup (erm… backup? what backup? hint to customers: BACK UP YOUR DATA).

Understandably, the customer was devastated but remembered we did repairs and came to us asking for some magic.

We tested out the phone, and discovered his motherboard (and onboard memory) was working a-ok, and that the problem was actually with his battery.

A few minutes later, and a new battery, and his iPhone was magically brought back to life.

Once again, Dr Martin of Laptop Doctor saved a customer’s precious data, pictures and contacts, and saved him a lot of money and stress.

Yes, we can do that too! Another happy customer got his iPhone as a gift. Unfortunately it was locked to a network. Thanks to our efficient engineers his phone was unlocked the next day.
